The offerings buried along with the dead body are being prepared which includes 12 pieces of turmeric, 12 pieces of bamboo, gingelly oil all packed in banana leaf. The men then pray to the soul for forgiving them for any shortcomings, and not to cause any problems. The pack is carried on the head of the son, and then thrown. Then they leave to take a bath. | |
