Gutob (ISO 639-3 code: gbj)

Gutob is a non-scheduled language, spoken in northern and central India. The language belongs to the Austroasiatic language family. Though similarity is noticed in their names, yet it is different from the Dravidian Ollari Gadaba language. Gutob, also called Gadaba, is an endangered language of the Munda family. It is spoken in the Koraput District of Odisha, Srikakulam and Vishakhapattanam districts of Andhra Pradesh. The number of speakers of Gutob is 40976 (as per 2011 Census).
