dc.description | This is a traditional story about a human couple who gave birth to puppies and the dogs who gave birth to baby girls. When the girls grow up, the elder daughter kills the dog mother. The younger one buries the body with love and the dog mother appears in her dream, leading her to gold. The jealous elder sister tries to follow her, but dies by snake bite. After the storytelling, the informant explains the story in broken Tamil. | |
