| Notes | This is a conversation about random topics. Initailly the young informants try to stage a conversation for the purpose of recording. After a while, the Resource Person prompts the informants with questions so that they are motivated to speak. The informants speak on a variety of topics like school, parents' work, medicine, house chores, religious beliefs, ghost myths, games, leisure activities, festivals, rituals and ceremonies, folk song, interaction with other castes, convertion, food habits, vegetables grown, animals in the forest, ethnomedicine, death ceremony, clothes, ornaments, tattooing, weekend bashes after drinking, and future hopes and dreams. |
