Abstract
Description
This is a description of the traditional festivals and rituals in the community. Each settlement is called 'paadi'. The informant belongs to Vazhathur paadi. each paadi has its own temple. There are aslo discussion about myths, the project, a casual elicitation of some sentences to gauge the language and elicitation of kinship terms.
