Abstract
Description
This is a personal narrative on the experience of the informant with outsiders, land transactions, alcoholism, political parties government, and researchers. Among the forest produce, food is consumed by the community, and medicines are sold to Kottakkal (Ayurvedic treatment center). There is also elicitation of food items harvested from the forest.
