NotesThis is a conversation with Akkamma from Bantwala, Karnataka. The variety of Tulu she speaks is different from the variety spoken in Kasaragod. The Resource Persons uses the help of Ramesh, who is an interpreter and the point of contact in the local area. Ramesh and Akkamma speak in Tulu and Kudiya; Ramesh then translates the talk in Malayalam for the Resource Persons. They talk about the different problems faced by Akkamma. As there are very few houses, they don't have a 'chief' in the village. They approach the panchayath to solve any problems. The allowance from ration shop, mobile phone, etc. is discussed. Later they also show and tell various articles of worship like Kalasa, Vibhuthi, Sabarimala mala, etc.
