Maithili

Maithili is an Indo-Aryan language that belongs to Scheduled Language category. It is spoken in Bihar, Jharkhand. The number of speakers is 13583464 and Purabi Maithili, Tharu and Thati etc. are the mother Tongues grouped under it. It uses the Devanagari script.
