Khamti [ISO 639-3: kht & Glottocode: kham1290]

Khamti belongs to Kra-Dai languages, South-western Tai languages. The communities reside in Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and in the country of Myanmar. It is noticeably accepted that Khamti has three dialects- North Burma Khamti, Assam Khamti, and Sinkaling Khamti. Khamti speakers are said to be bilingual, largely in Assamese and Burmese.
